Abomination

Abomination
 They call me
 Witchcraft
 They call it
 Sinner
 They say
 Possessed
 Others believe

But where is the fault in loving someone?
Show me the pain it brings.
Show me what it takes away from you
 To see me happy,
Overjoyed with butterflies in my stomach.
 To see her hold,
Gently like a precious priceless stone.
 To see her embrace me,
Through the good and the bad.
 To see her love me,
 For who I am.
What harm does it bring to you?

 If love is a sin
Then why does God love us?
Why does he say we should love one another?
 Tell me,
 Why?

 Man loves man,
 Woman loves woman,
 Man loves woman,
 Woman loves man.
All I see is the word love,
 And love knows no colour,
 It knows no age,
 It knows no gender,
 Love does not discriminate.
 Love is pure,
 Love is kind,
 Love is innocent,
 Love is caring,
 Love is warm,
 And love respects.

I guess you will never understand,
 Claiming to love thy neighbour,
But being the first to cast the stone.
